Directions to Castle on the Hudson

From CT or N. Westchester: Merritt Parkway, I-95S or 684S to Cross-Westchester Expressway (287W). Take Exit 1 (Tarrytown); bear right onto Rte. 119W. After the first light, turn right onto Benedict Avenue. After the second light, The Castle will be on the left. Parking will be on the right at The Hackley School.
From NYC West Side: Take West Side Highway, which becomes the Henry Hudson Parkway, which becomes the Saw Mill River Parkway. Continue north on the Saw Mill to Exit 21W (119W/ Tarrytown). Turn right onto Rte. 119. After the fourth traffic light, turn right onto Benedict Avenue. After the second light, The Castle will be on the left. Parking will be on the right at The Hackley School.
From NYC East Side: Take the FDR Drive North to the Major Deegan Expressway, which becomes the NYS Thruway (87N). Proceed on 87 to Exit 9 (Tarrytown – last exit before the Tappan Zee Bridge). At the exit traffic light, turn left onto 119W. At the bottom of the hill, turn right onto Rte 9N. At the third traffic light, turn right onto Benedict Ave. After the fourth light (one is a blinking light), The Castle will be on the right. Parking will be on the left at The Hackley School.
From Long Island: Take Throgs Neck Bridge or the Whitestone Bridge to the New England Thruway (95N) or the Hutchinson Parkway North. Exit onto the Cross-Westchester Expressway (287W). Take Exit 1 (Tarrytown); bear right onto Rte. 119W. After the first light, turn right onto Benedict Avenue. After the second light, The Castle will be on the left. Parking will be on the right at The Hackley School.
From NJ: Take the Garden State Parkway or the Palisades Parkway North to I-87/287 East to the Tappan Zee Bridge. After the bridge toll, take the first exit (Rte. 9/Tarrytown). At the exit traffic light, make a right onto Rte 9N. At the fourth traffic light, turn right onto Benedict Avenue. After the fourth light (one is a blinking light), The Castle will be on the right. Parking will be on the left at The Hackley School.
